Body of cop found in Spanish Town identified

The policeman, whose body was found in Spanish Town Friday afternoon, has been identified as Sergeant C Morrison who was attached to the Detention & Courts Division.

Residents discovered the body, which had stab wounds to the back of the head, at approximately 1:30 in the afternoon in the vicinity of Brunswick Avenue and Job’s Lane, and alerted the police.

The body was found in a pool of blood, and clad in black sweat pants and a white T-shirt.

According to a Loop News police source, the sergeant’s 1997 white Toyota Mark 11 was found earlier in the day on a nearby roadway with blood stains all over the interior
