Teacher Shot By Security Manager After Being Stabbed at St Andrew High
According to The Jamaica Observer – A teacher was last night shot and a security manager stabbed during an altercation on the compound of the St Andrew High School for Girls last night.
It is reported that the incident happened shortly after school authorities and students wrapped up the 6th form graduation ceremony some minutes before 10:00 pm.
According to the police, the teacher was shot during a dispute with a security manager, who is also a licensed firearm holder. The security manager was allegedly stabbed by the teacher during the incident and pulled his firearm, shooting the teacher.
Both men were taken to hospital for treatment.
Their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
