iOS 10

iOS 10 concepts are no news, and every now and then, many artists keep releasing their imaginations of the future of iOS 10. A lot of such artists try to predict what iOS 10 would be like or how we would want it to be like in the coming years. However, only some of such concepts appeal to our liking, and one such concept has caught our eye.

Made by Sam Beckett, a new iOS 10 concept video has been released and shows very fine details of his imaginations. Beckett has integrated 3D Touch very nicely into the Control Center of his concept iOS 10. Some great customization ideas are actually so useful that they should be particularly picked up by Apple for the next iteration of iOS. In short, it all involves app shortcuts and hardware toggles in the Control Center.
In the concept iOS 10, you could tap or 3D Touch on toggles for rearranging them in the edit mode and disabling the toggles that you rarely use. You could even add new switches for Cellular Data, Low Power Mode, etc. Also, integration of 3D Touch into the Control Center would mean that you could access more options quickly for a specific toggle.

According to Beckett, this concept can be further worked upon and improved by Apple to allow greater customization of shortcuts and toggles. Also, a new system-wide dark mode and 3D Touch integration for extra options would be very much desired in iOS 10.
Explaining the edit mode’s functionality, Beckett says :

Some more security like Touch ID or Passcode should be implemented on the Lock screen when users attempt to open the Notes app inside the Control Center directly from the Lock screen. We all know that the Control Center hasn’t changed much since iOS 7, but with iOS 9.3, it will come with a Night Shift toggle. But as said earlier, a system-wide night mode would be hugely loved.
The WWDC 2016 might see Apple previewing iOS 10 alongside OS X 10.12 aka Fuji.
