Disrespectful and degrading! Readers blast ‘Marvin di Dancer

A unanimous expression of disgust and outrage was the call for hundreds of Loop readers reacting to the appalling behaviour being portrayed in the Jamaican dancehall scene after a video surfaced online showing a girl being humiliated on stage.
Perpetrated by Marvin the Dancer and at least three other men during one of his 'dance' routines – Marvin and his cronies chased the obviously frightened and shaken female who does her best to get away from the marauding males who force themselves on her while gyrating wildly.
The female even flees into a room in an attempt to escape the brutish advances of the men but things got only worse for the girl.
The footage was so disgusting that Loop News decided not to upset our readers by carrying it, however that lack of visual support did little to damper the harsh backlash the man and his fellow dancers were about to receive on Monday.
An obviously upset Juline Plunkett wrote, “I saw the video it was awful... I thought to myself what is this? This is what dancehall gone to now I didn't think it was funny at all”
Leanora Withthecherrylips Jarrett said, “Them bwoy deh fi guh dun Inna the jungle guh dance with the wild animals there. Cause that's how he is, he's a wild animal. Normal ppl don't dance like that.”
Tamika Small-Clough asked: “What fresh hell is this?! As long as our society turns a blind eye to domestic abuse and crimes against women this sort of sadistic and psychopathic behaviour will run rampant. He thinks it’s cool; him and his lapdogs to bully and mistreat someone who can't defend herself. He's gonna buck the right one.”
“All the men involved should be arrested and charged. The female clearly did not want to partake in their barbaric activities…She explicitly said no and they continued to rip off her clothes...arrest them all!” exclaimed Kerri-Ann Guyah.
