Man killed, teenager injured in Mona Commons gun attack

One man is now dead and a teenage boy hospitalised following a gun attack at Mona Commons in St Andrew on Wednesday.
Police say 19-year-old Ronaldo Kinghorne and two teenage boys were standing at a spot in the depressed community at about 1:15 AM.
The three seemed unaware that danger was lurking and were having a jovial conversation, when a car drove up. One man alighted and, before any of the three could react, the man pulled a gun and started shooting.
When the smoke cleared, it was discovered that Kinghorne was killed and a 17-year-old boy was shot and injured. The other teenager escaped unharmed.
The injured teen is listed as being in serious but stable condition.
