Man shot in front of fast food restaurant in Old Harbour

An unidentified male was shot while standing in front of the KFC on East Street in old Harbour a short while ago.

According to the Old Harbour police, the man was taken to hospital for treatment, the status of his condition remains unclear.

Residents note that this has been the third shooting incident at this location and it has become a "crime hotspot" in recent years.

They also add that the area in front of the restaurant is a popular hangout spot for peddlers, CD/DVD vendors and cash for gold buyers.

Coincidentally, the police station is less than 200ft away from the location.
