Flippa Mafia gets 25 years in US drug ring case

Dancehall artiste Flippa Mafia, accused of running a drug ring that shipped cocaine from California to New Jersey, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
The New Jersey attorney general's office says the 37-year-old (whose given name is Andrew Davis) also was ordered to pay a US$250,000 penalty Friday.
Davis' lawyer says an innocent man was sentenced for crimes he didn't commit.
Prosecutors say Davis ran the drug operation along with his brother Kemar Davis, of Hollywood, California. Kemar Davis pleaded guilty and was sentenced in March to 20 years in prison. Their brother Roger Davis pleaded guilty and got 10 years.
Investigators say a co-defendant received large shipments of cocaine in New Jersey and distributed them to other drug traffickers.
