JUST IN: Corey Todd charged with assaulting Devin Di Dakta

Taboo owner and dancehall music executive Corey Todd has been charged for assaulting young deejay Devin Di Dakta at the popular St Andrew night club in January.
The Constant Spring Police Station said Todd was charged with assault on Tuesday, after several months of investigation.
"We can confirm that he has been charged for assault," Detective Sergeant Huntley, assigned to the police station, toldLoop News.
Todd, a former business associate of incarcerated deejay Vybz Kartel, has been ordered to appear in court next week to face the charge.
Devin Di Dakta was allegedly ganged and beaten by Todd and his associates in the parking lot of Taboo, an exotic night club located along Constant Spring Road in St Andrew. Immediately after the incident, his management team refuted allegations from the management of Taboo that the beating did not involve security personnel from the club, and that it was triggered after Devin Di Dakta allegedly harassed a dancer and had to be removed from the entertainment facility after a complaint was made.
According to the management of Devin Di Dakta, the artiste was beaten over a diss song he made directed at Todd.
