Tessanne Chin, Adam Levine mourn slain Voice singer murdered in Orlando

Season six third-place winner in US singing competition The Voice, Christine Grimmie, succumbed to gunshot wounds she sustained on Saturday, June 11 after being shot while signing autographs in Orlando, Florida on Friday.
Among the hundreds who mourn the talented songbird, pianist and songwriter, was season five winner, Jamaica’s Tessanne Chin.
Via her Instagram page, Chin wrote: “Woke up this morning to this incredibly sad news ... In total shock!!! Words fail me, struggling to comprehend and process how such a thing could happen but I don't think it will ever make sense.
My heart and my prayers go out to Christina's family and friends, what an incredible loss. All our love to you Christina.

The Voice judge, as well as Christina and Tessanne’s coach Adam Levine, said on Twitter that he and his wife were, “absolutely devastated and heartbroken... This is yet another senseless act of extreme violence. I am left stunned and confused how these things can conceivably continue to happen in our world.”
On Friday, June 10, after her performance with band Before You Exit at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Grimmie was happily signing autographs when she was shot three times by 27-year-old, Kevin James Loibl.
Loibl then reportedly fatally shot himself after being tackled by Grimmie's brother Marcus. The singer was rushed to the Orlando Regional Medical Centre in critical condition, but died on a day later.
Christine Grimmie was only 22-years-old.
