Pulse jumped nearly 20% on Tuesday


Pulse Investments gained 19 per cent to lead Tuesday's trading session of the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE).
Pulse, majority owned by its chairman Kingsley Cooper, increased $0.48 to close at $3.01. It represented a gain in a market which largely declined. The JSE Combined Index declined by 121.52 points (0.07 per cent) to close at 164,416.20.
Overall Market activity resulted from trading in 42 stocks of which 18 advanced, 16 declined and eight traded firm.
Market volume amounted to 2,938,502 units valued at over $117,315,981.27. Ciboney Group Limited was the volume leader with 615,712 units (20.95 per cent) followed by Jetcon Corporation Limited with 608,524 units (20.71 per cent) and Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited with 505,450 units (17.20 per cent) .
