Husband and wife shoot each other in domestic dispute in Westmoreland

A husband and wife are both in hospital after they allegedly attacked and shot each other during a domestic dispute in Frome, Westmoreland last week.

"Yes we can confirm receiving reports of the incident and have since launched an investigation into the matter," head of the police division,Superintendent David White told Loop News.

"The report we received is that there was an argument ... both the husband and wife were taken to hospital," he added.

He said the husband was admitted with gunshot wounds while the wife was admitted with gunshot and stab wounds.

Full details into the incident are still unclear at this time but reports about the attack and the incident have triggered shock and anger among residents in the community.
