Kremi to pay dividends

Caribbean Cream Limited (KREMI) has advised that it will make its first dividend payment to shareholders since listing on the Junior Market.

Few companies on the Junior market pay dividends partially due to the rapid price appreciation in the stocks. Kremi, one of the top price gainers of the market, will issue just $19 million in dividends. It was financed through profits which tripled to $150 million for its February year end.

Kremi advised that the board of directors declared a dividend of $0.05 per share to its 378.6 million units held in the stock. The dividend is payable on September 23, 2016 to shareholders registered at the close of business on September 9, 2016. The ex-dividend date is September 7, 2016
