Texas man’s plea for wife, ‘matey’ to get along goes viral

When a wife suspects her husband is up to no good, the last thing she would expect is for him to own up to it publicly.

Not only admitting his promiscuous ways, Houston, Texas resident Lonnie Turner Junior’s Facebook post also demanded both his wife and ‘side-chick’ to “get along”.

In the post, dated in late June, Turner said: “These two better learn to get along. I work extremely hard, and I think I deserve to have everything my little heart desires. Why have a cake & can't eat it??? I want multiple cakes‼ ‪#‎Wife ‪#‎Chic ‪#‎BestOfBothWorlds”

Accompanying the married American father’s status were side-by-side photos of his wife Tammy Arrington-Turner and his mistress Helen Yancy.

The post, which has now been shared on his page over a thousand times, has social media users divided – as while many praise Turner for his honesty, others blasted the businessman for being disrespectful to his marriage.

Leticia Padua contended, “I just admire his honesty that’s all... at least he is honest there are no secrets! If they choose to stay with him, is it really his fault?”

“For real...nothing surprises me anymore... And like you said at least he being honest,” another woman wrote.

A friend of Lonnie’s, Susan Loren, said emphatically, “1st off Nobody could care less about him respecting the THOT on the right. The only person that's being disrespected on this post is his wife you can't expect a side chick who's publicly posting pictures of another woman's husband to get any respect. When she allows herself to be disrespected she knows what it is so if she allows herself to be put in the situation because she can't let go of materialistic things that's on her. So no one can blame Lonnie for doing what she's allowed him to do. She clearly has no problem with it. So why do you?

Now Lonnie you know I love you homie but you shouldn't do Tammy like this with this post. You two seemed to be back on a good track. She's your wife and the mother of your children so out of respect for your boys and your wife that I know you love in spite of all the foolishness.... I think you should take the post down.”

Turner’s post has gained the attention of BET and the Daily Mail in the UK as social media exploded with laughter and anger at a man’s bravery or stupidity (all depending on which side of the fence you are on, of course).
