Marlon Perry otherwise called, Duppy Film, the man who the police says has been implicated in the murder of two police officers last  year is now being hunted by the Jamaica Defence Force(JDF) in a major joint security operation.
Film  who is believed to be in the St. Thomas area is listed as one of  Jamaica’s most wanted men.
According to Commanding of Area Five, Assistant Commissioner of Police,(ACP), Derrick Knight, arresting Film is a major part of the operation which started at seven this morning.
“We have a big operation that  is around tracking Duppy Film and his gang because we want him to stop terrorising the people of St. Thomas,” explained ACP Knight.
According to Knight, Duppy Film, has been sending threatening  text messages to policemen in the parish.
The Police High Command recently increased the reward to 1.5 million JMD to anyone who can give reliable information leading to the arrest and charge of the wanted man.
Residents  of Harbour View, St Andrew and surrounding communities are being asked by the police to give due consideration to the heavy  presence of soldiers and policemen in the area as they  carry out their operations.
