Popcaan arrested in Antigua after on-stage altercation with police

Dancehall star Andre 'Popcaan' Sutherland was arrested in Antigua on Monday after an altercation with a police officer during a stage performance.

The conflict reportedly began when police officers attemped to remove fans off the stage. 

A video of the incident posted online shows the 'unruly' deejay telling the lawmen: "Tek time with them police, mi done tell you nuh deal with them so rough."

Popcaan then attempted to separate a patron from a cop who reacted by strongly pushing the Jamaican artiste.

Antigua's Daily Observer reported that Popcaan later left the stage when another conflict allegedly developed between the artiste and the cops.

Another video shows Popcaan being escorted by police officers into a vehicle.
