Beres Hammond, Tessanne Chin and Toots Hibbert headline ‘Groovin In The Park’ in June

Jamaican songbirds Beres Hammond, Toots Hibbert and Tessanne Chin are among several set to deliver some memorable moments in music as anticipation heightens for the 2016 Groovin In The Park concert.
The annual event, being held at the Roy Wilkins Park in Queens, New York on Sunday, June 26, will also see the likes of Grammy-award winners Brian McKnight and Peabo Bryson – as well as reggae artiste Duane Stephenson.
Multiple-time Grammy nominees, Hammond will be performing for the third time at the yearly concert, while Toots Hibbert is expected to captivate after initially being booked back in 2013, but suffered a head injury at an outdoor festival in Richmond, Virginia.
In a sense, Tessanne Chin’s performance will also be an impromptu ‘welcome home’ by her fans in the Diaspora after she famously won season 5 of NBC’s The Voice with a memorable run as the shows only outsider.
She has since went on to release her sophomore album ‘Count On My Love’, and more recently singles ‘Fire’ and ‘Love Suicide’.
