JUST IN: 3 murdered at St James party, 6 others injured

Three persons were shot and killed and six others shot and injured as gunmen invaded a party in St James last night.

Among the dead is 16-year-old Adrian Thelwell. The other deceased have been identified as 28-year-old Troy Scoville, o/c Berky, of a Kingston address; and Nicholas ‘Trubby’ Campbell, a 27-year-old of Ramble. 

Reports are that about 9:40 Friday night patrons at party in the New Ramble, Bogue area of the parish were sent scurrying for cover when they came under attack by a group of unknown gunmen.

Nine persons were shot and rushed to hospital where three of them were pronounced dead and the other six, which included a female, admitted.

Police are yet to establish a motive for the attack.
