Wanted St Mary child molester named

Police in St Mary have released the name of the mechanic accused of fondling a 10-year-old girl in Highgate in the parish two weeks ago.

He is Ian Blake, alias ‘Cynie’, of a Highgate address.

The St Mary Police are appealing to Blake to turn himself over to the .

Blake is wanted for grevious sexual assault after a report was made that he fondled the 10-year-old child.

In addition, Blake is wanted shooting with intent.

This was after the mechanic managed to elude law enforcers following a shoot-out on Sunday, April 17.

On Sunday, the man was seen in the Highgate area by the police and they tried to arrest him but there was an exchange of bullets between him and the officers.

The man subsequently escaped.

The police have noted that Blake is armed and dangerous, and further stress that persons should assist their efforts in finding him with providing any information on his whereabouts.
