$2M reward for arrest of tourist’s killers

The police have issued a $2M million reward for information leading to the capture of the men who murdered a Canadian tourist Friday night in Negril.
Deneis Palakai, a 35-year-old real estate agent of Ontario, was shot around 9 o’clock by men on a motorbike as he and his girlfriend and father walked along the West End main road in Negril.
There have been conflicting report as to whether the killing was due to an attempted robbery of his girlfriend.
Commissioner of Police Dr Carl Williams has since visited with the girlfriend and father of the deceased in Westmoreland.
