Shotta killed in Kendal

The peace and quiet of the rustic community of Kendal in Hanover was shattered at dawn on Sunday when gun shots rang out.
When the smoke cleared, 35-year-old Jermaine Campbell, popularly known as ‘Shotta’, was found lying in a pool of his own blood on a roadway in the district with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Police say ‘Shotta’, who is an electrician, was walking in the community when he was approached by a gunman. The two reportedly had a short conversation before the man opened fire.
Campbell was taken to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
